So happy…this is GREAT news!!!

We have 2 old car seats, 2 old bases an old potty seat and will have more things that are not good to pass on to other moms. We have held onto these things because I just knew there had to be a better option that the trash and ending up in a landfill. I searched the web high and low today, read so many blogs and forums discussing the recycling of old baby gear…I found other states that did things to help you out but none that truly recycled all the pieces and parts. But I stumbled across Baby Earth and found they did!  I am so excited about this and can’t wait to pass my stuff on to them!

So when and if you have old items you need to get rid of please check their website and take the time to mail them the items. It may cost a bit, but the send you a $5 coupon to use on purchase of thier products and you have the piece of mind you are saving a lil bit of earth for your kiddos!

Because landfills are icky

Babies grow up quickly and your beloved car seats, strollers, swings and highchairs end up as junk, collecting dust in the garage. Sadly, many of these items are thrown away, ending up in landfills. Well, not anymore. That’s why we’ve launched BabyEarth RENEW, a hassle-free baby gear recycling program.

The program is simple. If you’re done with your car seat, stroller or high chair, send it to us. We’ll make sure everything is properly disassembled and all usable parts are sent to accredited recycling centers. For example, fabrics will be shipped to developing countries, and metal, plastic and foam will be used for construction projects. In the spirit of renewing, if the item is in excellent condition it will be donated to and enjoyed by another family who needs it.
