Great conversations

I have had a few conversations recently that made me laugh hard, feel proud and blessed so I just have to share them.

This one was with my 3 year old son while out to dinner for my birthday.

Joshua was rubbing my breasts. I took his hand and said

Me:  we do not rub on mommy’s chest.

Joshua: why not mommy?

Me: Well it is not polite and it is mommy’s private area

Joshua: (as he points and touches my breasts) What are those mommy?

Me: just my private parts

Joshua: Oh, those are your cupcakes!

I was ROFL and crying and everyone else at the table followed.

Ok, that one was funny and precious but the next one makes be beam with happiness and I am so proud.

Last night we went out to dinner at Z Tejas. We sat at a round table kinda in the middle of the restaurant. We had nice family time and things were just normal. One of the tables next to us was leaving and the gentleman came over to me and said…

” I just wanted to tell you that you have well behaved children. We have been watching them and are quite amazed and pleased how well all of them have been. You have done a great job raising them and I just wanted to let you know. ”

HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! That has made my year….it is one thing for family and friends to make comments but a complete stranger who is impressed by them. WOW! I am so proud of my 4 lil monkeys!!
