things that make my life a lil bit easier

We have been taking care of a few things around the house…ok well J has.

Our kitchen was not built to house a trash can, unless you like your trash in your food pantry. But a few weeks ago J changed that. To the left of the sink there was a small drawer and cabinet. the drawer was our CAUTION drawer. It housed our knife set. Not the best place for them but my knives are too big for a block and we do not have many walls to hang our knife magnet so they went in a drawer during the 1.5 day rush of unpacking, Navy style, thanks to Em and the boys. The cabinet just held pitchers. Now it has been transformed to a pull out trash can. I love it. You can’t see my trash, smell my trash and it is right by the sink and where I prep just about everything in the kitchen.

On friday our new RED washer and dryers arrived. So excited, love them tons. They are so quiet and fast I forget I am doing laundry. And of course, I so love that they are red. It makes laundry a little bit fun.

a quick shot as they were being installed!
