What am I doing?!

So there is this program at the kid’s school Taylor wanted to do. It is a team challenge…the kids have to use their imagination and create solutions to problems using limited resources. It is a great thing BUT…. I was asked to co-captain a team. You have to have 2 captains or there is no team and Taylor could not participate. So what did I say when asked to co-captain? A big fat yes.

Today was our first meeting…after school. It was worse than herding cats. I have no idea what I am doing and the other co-captain same boat…same story as above. Yay for us and ignorance. But we sure do love our kids. The other 3 had to tag a long today and that was horrible, unproductive and frustrating. Learning a lot about Hannah and it is a frustrating experience. Wishing a parenting coach was right behind me telling me what to do so I don’t just react.

This program goes until February and I really have no idea what I got myself into. Right now I am kinda irritated that I was not stronger when I was asked to do this…I really don’t have the time or knowledge to really do this…but I love my kids and so I will carry on.
