Summer is here!

Life is good, we are so blessed. J and I returned last night from a 2 week visit on the gulf coast. We partied, hung out with family, were lazy, saw Graceland, and got loads of quality time in with many loved ones! Even on the way home we stopped in Dallas to visit with some dear friends we have had for many years!!!

The kids are still enjoying mimi, papa and their cousins. J and I are at home sans kids and wonder how it will be after a few days. This is the first time we have been at home without our kiddos. We have 8 days before they come home and although we miss them terribly we are hoping to get a few projects done around the house, enjoy one another and the time we have without distraction. Because once they come home summer camps begin and so does J’s traveling.

Well I am off to enjoy my day…get another cup of coffee and see what the day has to bring. Many thanks and much love to mimi, papa, Aunt Amanda and all the cousins for taking care of our kiddos and loving on them for us!!
