We now have the Insanity workout. I did the fit test on Wednesday and was about on par with the people in the video. Today I did my first Insanity workout. It was intense. I was drier when I was at the pool this morning, in the water…I feel 100% better having done the workout!

It was a great workout. I feel I did OK, but I want to beat the DVD. By that I mean keep up with the video. I had to rest here and there today.

It did kick my butt a few times and it is not for someone who has not exercised before. Despite, my daily workouts of running, weights and kick boxing I had a hard time doing every move as fast as the DVD.

I will do it again and again. I want to conquer the workout now. (It’s all a competition thing and I am my own worst competitor)

Due to my regular running workouts and my appointments with my trainer I will only be using Insanity as a supplement to my routine. Once we get into the school routine I may use it as my 2nd workout of the day.

I am happy to have a new exercise routine to do and look forward to being able to hang with the Insanity crew. Should be fun!
