Putting things to bed

Ever have those situtaions or encounters that you cannot seem to let go of? Those things that pop into your head unexpectantly that you then mull over and over again?

It is frustrating at times. One particular thing I cannot seem to put to rest. It has been this way for a couple years. I’ve talked about it at length, working through emotions and thoughts, prayed about it, etc… but it still comes to the fore front of my mind and I just don’t know where to file it and it be gone or at least not dredge up emotoins that go along with it.

I am not sure what not letting it go, not forgetting it and still have emotion over it all may mean. I don’t feel an urge to bring it up to those involved or who know about it. Tried that once but got a closed off response so I let it be.

ugh….takes time I guess….
