Christmas 2012

I know its close to February and I am just now chatting about Christmas.  Things sped up and schedules got crazy once we got home from our trip.

Having to cook, bake and refill my pantry after taking all my safe foods, sauces, marinades, etc. took most of my time. Then there was planning and prep for Hannah’s 10th birthday and filling an order for Beyond The Decorations– 53 save the date cards, response cards all mostly hand written, and of course J hit the road once we got home. Hoping things to settle back into our norm soon and not have to play catch up mush.

We had two weeks on the Gulf Coast. A week with mom and dad and then a week with Tony, Emily and the boys. We all had fun and enjoyed the catching up, hanging out, shopping and playing games and puzzles. I do have to admit taking food for 2 weeks and having limited supplies to replenish wasn’t so much fun. I was eating the same thing for each meal the last few days… still working on a streamlined way to travel with this allergy. But it does get tough the longer I am away from home.

Hope y’all all had a great Christmas and New Years!
