Fun Weekend!

STL playbillSaturday I got to go on a date with Jason.

We went to see the play The Screwtape Letters.

It was great and convicting.

They had a Q & A afterwards and that was interesting. Afterwards we picked up Coleman and went to dinner at Bess Bistro. We all had a fun night.

Sunday was fun! Coleman is studying Radio, TV and film at UT so he know anything and everything about that industry and finds cool and fun things to do…so we drove to Houston Sunday morning to go meet Oscar. Oscar of the Academy Awards, as in the very first Oscar statue that was made in 1927. He is taking a road trip around the country so people can see him, hold him and get their pictures with him. Road Trip Reporters Ben Gleib and Angie Greenup

You may see some familiar faces on the Academy Awards Pre Show this Sunday! Maybe even a video clip of Coleman.

It was a really fun and neat experience. So glad we went!!! Mercie played all shy and did not want her picture taken. They did get a group picture with us and Mercie joined in that one but just the traveling photographer got that picture.

Future weekend plans are exciting. Just learned A Prairie Home Companion will be here in April! YAY! We are going.
