It was a good, good, night!

We just had a great dinner with friends. New friends for me… I finally met one of Jason’s co-workers who he has become good friends with and his beautiful wife and daughter. They were in town this weekend and I am glad we got to enjoy a meal with them.

There are people you meet and you know there will not be a relationship, others you know it will take work and then there are some that feel comfortable from the get go and the ease at which you can relax and enjoy their company sometimes surprises you. The latter is how it was with Chris and Lindsey tonight.

It reminds my heart of what I am longing for in relationships for here and now. We had some great friends in CA we shared the ease and comfort with as we shared life and we have several others scattered across this great country. We have a family here we adore here and love sharing life together… the others in our circle have moved away and we all feel the void from time to time. Its times like tonight I wish something’s could have stayed the same…. I am definitely a person who loves to have the near and dear ones within arm’s reach and can easily get together at a moment’s notice…
